HD & STD Boxes

I am planning on upgrading to HD, but have two questions:

1.  WIll my HD box work with the non-HD dish I use with my motorhome?

2.  Will my non-HD boxes (model D12-100) work on a HD dish?

Generally, an HD box can work with a non-HD dish, but you won't receive HD quality content. The box can downgrade the signal to match the capabilities of your non-HD setup. However, specific compatibility can vary based on the equipment models and manufacturers. Using non-HD boxes with an HD dish means you'll continue to receive standard definition content.
