How can I renew a cancelled account?
I bought an AT&T GoPhone 2 years ago for a short period of use. I let the account balance expire and more than 60 days passed without adding to the balance. According to Terms my account was probably cancelled. Can I renew this account using the same device, with or without the same number?

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Community Forums! Great question regarding an old AT&T PrePaid device.
You can activate the device by obtaining a new SIM card. You will also need a new phone number, as the previous one may be unavailable. Activation instructions can be found here, by scrolling down to where it says AT&T Prepaid: Activation Support.
