Transfer number from AT&T prepaid to another carrier
I just want to know if I can transfer my active phone number from AT&T prepaid to another prepaid carrier and if others have found this to be successful.

Yes, you can port your number to a different carrier, prepaid or not. You will need your prepaid account number and pin. You must call for your account number, it is not available online.

Do I need to call 611? ( prepaid) I bought a postpaid phone but switched to prepaid plan, now my phone is locked so I am buying a new phone but want to keep my same number when I switch to a different provider...
