Android 7 Nougat for Nexus 6

Great news! Google/Motorola released the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Motorola Nexus 6 (XT1103) on December 6, 2016. The update is available via a rolling Google Over the Air (GOTA) download.

Google is using a slow rollout over the air update that starts with 4% of users and will ramp up to all AT&T Nexus 6 users on the AT&T network by December the 11^th.

Once you’ve received notification on your phone:

1. Ensure your Nexus 6 is sufficiently charged.
2. Connect to Wi-Fi.
3. Select Install.

I haven't had a security update for my Nexus 6 since June 2016, and every time I check my phone tells me it is "Up to date." My phone is vulnerable to security threats, but I CANNOT force my phone to update, even though I know there are updates for Nexus phones.

I KNOW that Nougat has been available for Nexus 6 since October.

When will AT&T update my Nexus 6 to Nougat?

if you have not been updated since june I think I would download the ota's from here and flash them yourself.  https://developers.google.com/android/ota

At this time the nexus 6 is not going to get updated past 7.0 and its security updates stop in oct 17.  https://support.google.com/nexus/answer/4457705#nexus_devices
