BEWARE LG devices ALL bootloop

My wife and I suffered a total of 6 bootloops with the G4

 

Because of this ATT supplied me a V10 and my wife a G5

 

My V10 has now also bootlooped the same way the G4 did

 

LG has poor quality control, their devices all do this bootloop thing

 

I gave them the benefit of the doubt I figured "hey they screwed up the G4 im sure the V10 will be fine"

 

well was I wrong, all of their devices suffer bootloops

 

now i have a paper weight and it is out of warranty because it goes by the original date even though the V10 is only a few months old

 

got to love it

 

now im out money, because I have to pay the phone off to upgrade which I have no choice....LG gave me the option of warranty repair 2 week turn around

 

I have spent a total of 6 hours on the phone with ATT handling warranty replacements since the G4

 

I understand things happen, but their bootloop issue effects ALL their devices, or I am the unluckiest

 

(this is not directed at ATT, their hands are tied, however I do feel ATT should give an ultimatum to LG over these poor devices)

 

I am tired of constantly being on the phone about the same exact issue over 6 to 7 phones, once or twice, fine, but no consumer should spend 6 hours on the phone over an issue. It is something that ATT AND LG SHOULD HAVE JOINTLY RESOLVED AND THESE PHONES SHOULD NOT BE SOLD

 

It is not if, but when we have to call to replace my wifes g5

 

Will never purchase LG products again, I am not unreasonable......but when 7 phones fail of the same issue I know they have poor quality......stay away

Its any LG phone on any carrier.  It seems to be all the phones LG released in 2015 that have the problem.  There are very very few reports of the g5 doing it and v20 I can find none.

I had the V10 for several months and it just did it last night

 

after multiple G4 bootloops they gave me the V10

 

now I am out of warranty

 

a lovely situation really.....im paying the $112 payoff on the phone and getting another brand besides LG

 

I would get the V20 but sadly after 6/7 bootloops I am too nervous....so LG loses.....they should have had a recall

Contact LG directly.  They know there is a problem.  Why in several generations they haven't fixed it is beyond me.   They are even refunding purchasers of the Nexus 5x for the faulty phones they sold through Google.

Here is the wonderful outcome

 

After multiple G4 bootloops my V10 has also bootlooped.....except now the warranty is over...

 

so to get a new phone I had to pay the ATT balance of $279

 

and because of all this I switched to iphone

 

I explained the situation to LG they refused to cover the $279

 

How fuc*ing pathetic to have like 7 phones in a row brick

 

WHAT A JOKE....LG IS NOT WORTHY OF PEOPLES MONEY

so after 5 LG G4 bootloops between my wife and I, and one LG v10 bootloop, (all the exact same problem), i have spent the best $279 of my life

 

the phone was out of warranty and i was not willing to wait for LG to repair directly....... I needed a phone immediately

 

paid off the ATT NEXT $279 and upgraded to the iphone 7 plus

 

it doesnt over heat, no issues....

 

never had cell issues in my life, and I intend to go back to that

 

LG is truly garbage. like bottom of the barrel and spit in it type of garbage....

 

I got them back in my own way....after refusing to pay the $279 pay off i have diverted people away from LG products, so I have cost them more than $279

 

we had the G4 bootloop on vacation which was the worst of all.....

 

I truly hope LG is bought out by a company run by adults that realize quality assurance is important....

 

fix the hardware issue that causes the bootloop you complete fooking imbeciles
