Do AT&T postpaid devices get OTA firmware updates if you use it on a Go Phone plan?

Do AT&T carrier phones still get OTA firmware updates if they are used on an AT&T prepaid Go Phone Plan?

Or do you need to be on AT&T postpaid in order to get the intended OTA updates for said phone?

They should update just like the postpaid phones. As long as you are on the AT&T network, the phone should update.

If in the settings, there is a place to check for updates, your phone should be able to get the update.

You will need a data plan or be able to update over wifi.
