how do you protect your phone privacy?

Hi, guys, I want to know which apps you use to protect your android phone security. I have some really important information like contacts, images, and videos in my phone, sometimes I hand over my phone to someone else I was afraid that they might accidentally be deleted it.searched in Play store and find apps such as DoMobile AppLock, LEO privacy...
Have you ever used them? I hear that applock is really great but I wanna see if anyone has used it before.
Thanks ! thumbup.gif

Hello @luoy1233,

You raise a great question about security apps!  It is important to have protection on your phone, especially in today’s digital world.  We can help guide you.

When it comes to 3rd party apps, we can’t recommend a certain one as there are many.  But with most Android devices, it should come with an app called Lookout.  This has a very great list of options to help secure your phone as well as backup your information!  You can also purchase the Premium version which has additional options to enhance your security.

You can also review AT&T Mobile Security app.  This will be further overview of it as well as Call Protect and this is to help set It up.  And this article will explain how it works.

I hope this information helps!  Have a great day!

I never let someone else use my phone.  Why would you?   It’s like letting someone riffle your underwear drawer.  Nope.  I might show pictures, but that’s all.

There are several apps on the playstore that protect privacy and provide antivirus.  Just search for "antivirus" to find them.

Also use a fingerprint or passcode to keep your phone locked.  You can also encrypt the phone storage.

And for those completely paranoid and willing to withstand associated inconvenience Google now offers an advanced protection program.

Good Morning @lucy1233,

I totally understand what you mean.   Having others using our phone is quite concerning.  I would also suggest you read the reviews on the apps while you are looking for the one you feel suits your needs.  The reviews can be quite helpful when you are looking for opinions on the different apps which are available.

I hope this information helps!  Have a wonderful day!
