Is the Xiaomei Redmi Note 5 Taiwan variant compatible with AT&T's network?

Hello, I'm looking into purchasing the Xiaomei Redmi Note 5 Taiwan variant and am looking to see if it is compatible with the AT&T network. Below is the phone's bands.

2G:GSM B2/B3/B5/B8 (1900/1800/850/900)

3G:WCDMA B1/B2/B5/B8 (2100/1900/850/900)

4G: TDD-LTE B38/B40 (2600/2300)

4G:FDD-LTE

B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28 (2100 1900/1800/1700/850/2600/900/800/700)

From a cursory glance at AT&T's website it seems like 4 of the LTE bands match (2, 4, 5, and 40). Just want to get an idea of how coverage will be, and if possible if any modifications need to be made to the phone. Thanks!

AT&T bands

3G WCDMA/UMTS/HSDPA/HSPA+ - 850/1900MHz Bands 2 & 5 (minimum requirement for nationwide service)

4G LTE –700/850/1900/1700/2100/2300MHz Bands 2, 4, 5, 12, 17, 29, 30, 40, 66

If your local tower uses band 17 you won’t get LTE.  You might have trouble getting LTE at all if you are activating a new SIM card.  Transferring a SIM card already activated in an LTE phone usually resolves the problem.
