LG G3 Will not connect

Hey All,

Purchased a G3 last evening, and have tried everythign I can think of to connect it to my computer with the USB.  I've installed the LGPC Suite, verified the mobile drivers, changed out cords, restarted the computer, done a uninstall/reinstall, called tech support (not fun).  My wife and I have the same phone, hers works fine.  Mine will only show a chraging icon on the phone, but will not register in My Computer, LG PC, or read correctly in the USB popup for the control panel.  If I use the wireless connection option in LG PC, it reads fine, but will not transmit or except data.  Tech support says the phone is bad, although they talked out of their "rear" for most of their "help", so Im not so trusting of what the had to say.  I will be heading into the store tomorrow to do an exchange, btu thought I would hit up on here, and see if anyone had a solution.  Sounds like a firmware issue for the usb maybe?  Not sure, but if you have some thoughts, let me know.

Thanks,

Bruce

Had the same problem last night. I have a replacement phone coming for the PMA wireless charging issue...hopefully I can test this as well.

I was in the same 'boat' until I called AT&T support and got THE ANSWER!  When you plug your LG G3 (mine is AT&T D850 White) via USB to your computer, swipe DOWN from the top to see the option for "other USB options" (or similar).  You can then find/follow the steps to install and activate the PC sync.  It then works beautifully with the LG PC Suite software!
