LG V10 Will Not Turn On or Boot After Update
I have an LG V10 that just went through an OS update, plugged it in to charge, came back to it frozen with just the top LED screen showing the top bar. I tried to reboot with the power/volume up/volume down buttons but that did not do anything. Therefore, I pulled out the battery and put it back in. Now the phone seems to have bricked. While plugged in it will not turn on (nothing on screen upon pressing any of the power/volume up/volume down buttons). Update definitely went through successfully before I put the phone down to charge. I made sure when plugging it in that the phone was in fact "Fast charging". I have tried other wires, wall warts, plugged it into my laptop, etc., but still nothing ever shows on the screen or vibrates. Please help!

same problem my phone is bricked LGv10 10/12/2017 update killed it!

same here. i've tried everything. i get it to android is starting.... optimizing apps 2-9, it gets to a random number each time and starts rebooting again and repeats this twice, then shuts off completely.

So I just took my phone to AT&T (my carrier) and they said the following:
I bought their cheapest phone (~$30) for the time being as the LG repair and return/replace is estimated at 2 weeks. Opening a case with LG shortly.
