Loss of service for no reason

2 days ago my s22 ultra started having major connection issues. I have followed all basic steps with nothing fixing the problem. I’ve been to ATT 3 times and they can’t figure it out, this morning i even got a new sim but still have no service?

This would have happened shortly after the recent operating system update correct?

Yeah complain to Samsung and AT&T both.   Samsung's latest operating system update was completely botched by both Samsung and AT&T

That's exactly when it happened. Aside from complaining is there any fix? I use my phone for work and this is super inconvenient.

Samsung has to develop the software to fix the issue.

There are no new updates available, is this being released soon? I will gladly admit I am no tech person, so sorry if seems like a silly question. I just need this phone up and running again.

Thank you

If I were you I would purchase a cheap temporary phone and move your physical SIM card or have a SIM card made so that you can switch back when Samsung pushes forth a solution.

Right now there is no viable solution.

The S22 ultra seems to be more negatively affected than the 22 plus or regular size 22.

It's been a long time since a manufacturer and a service provider botched and update so badly.

Hey there! We understand the importance of having seamless network coverage, so let's get you the help you need.

This is an issue that has recently become a common scenario. While the manufacturer is looking into a fix, you can take a few steps by yourself as well.

In order for us to understand the situation better, please help us with your ZIP code. This will help us identify the status of coverage in your locality.

Next, please try a few simple troubleshooting steps. More often than not, these steps will help you get past common issues.

Reset your network settings:

  1. Go to your Settings
  2. Choose General Management, then Reset.
  3. Select Reset Network Settings and then Reset Settings.

Next, try power cycling your device. Simply turn your device off, wait for about 30 seconds, and turn it back on.

You can also try doing a factory reset on your phone. However, make sure to have a complete backup of the contents of your phone, as a factory reset will get the device back to it's original settings.

Additionally, you can also try our dedicated troubleshooting tool to run diagnostics in real time.

Finally, if none of the steps work, you can look into Boosting your Wireless Signal

Hope this information helps, and do let us know if you have any other concerns or questions for us in the future.

28079 is my Zip but my phone doesn't work anywhere in the charlotte area. I have reset network settings, cycled power, gotten a new Sim. Due to service the backup is going to take 5hrs.

The link to "boost" signal doesn't work. I'm going back to ATT store this morning for a new phone. They have to make this right.

I upgrades today to the 23 ultra. Didn't want to as the 24 is coming out but after 4 days of this issue I had to do something. I use this phone for work and personal and it was affecting my business.

1. Store confirmed today it was the device but the issue was the update.

2. Would be cool if ATT did something to compensate for my loss if work and frustration.

Thank you

Have to agree.   AT&T owe a make good.  For the amount of money that people spent on these phones, they should not be completely unusable less than 2 years later.
