phone keeps losing total connection to ATT
I have my wifi off so that setting is doing nothing, but for some reason I have 0 ATT signal in the middle of Oklahoma City. I put it in airplane mode and use the phone for a little bit then all of a sudden poof no network connection until i put it back in airplane mode and turn it off. that is the only way to reconnect and it will not stay connected

Are you new to AT&T or is this a sudden development although you've had AT&T service for a while?
It could be there updating the tower closest to you and it's not yet back online.
If you're brand new you chose the wrong service provider and should switch

Whether you keep WiFi on or off has nothing to do with your cell connection. In fact, you should probably leave it on and set up WiFi calling so you can use it if it’s available. If this is a new problem and you’ve had good coverage in the same area before, it’s likely just a temporary tower outage. If it’s always been this way, you’re just in an area with poor coverage, and there is nothing AT&T can do other than build more infrastructure, which could be months, years, or never. A different carrier would be the immediate fix.
