Phone Unlock help!
Hello, so i recently bought a at&t phone from someone online and i thought it was unlocked and it isnt cause when i insert my sim card (not from at&t) it says something about sim card network unlock. so basically i put a appliction on at&t unlock your device but i couldnt get accepted cause i dont know the information but i do know his first and last name who used this phone with at&t.
Is there anyway i can get it unlocked with ssn? and phone number that he had?
Im almost postive he wouldnt give me his last 4 didgits of his ssn and that the only way a at&t customer support person can look the info on him. (i asked)

AT&T only unlocks phones for current or former customers that had the phone on their account. The person that sold you the phone would have to request the unlock or give you the information needed for the unlock. If they are unwilling to request the unlock, then your phone will not be unlocked.
