All landlines or landlines in the same area code and exchange? Sounds like a routing issue to me. 

It is not in the same area code and exchange. It was multiple area codes that is not able to call me.

Then it must be an AT&T issue, unless all those area codes and exchanges were out of the same switch. Can you provide the area codes and exchanges and tell us if any landlines can call you. 

216, 440, 330. These are in Ohio within 50 miles of Cleveland.  My sister who lives about 45 miles south of where I do, is having the same issues with her phone as well.  When I called AT&T this morning, they couldn't give me an answer as to why this was happening and this is not the first time this has happened. 

To see what switch they work out of I also need the exchange (Area Code) (xxx)
