Removable Memory Card
I have a ZTE Z830 and everywhere I've read it's indicated I can add additional storage space simply by adding a MicroSD card. I have done this, now I'm unable to figure out how to move my apps to the card, let alone even just access the card. Am I missing something, anyone else experiencing this problem or offer suggestions.
Removable memory card
Up to 32 GB microSDHC card

Looks like that should be running Android 4.4.2.
Something like this should work: http://teckfront.com/move-downloaded-apps-internal-storage-sd-card-android-4-4-4-kitkat-device/

apps have a button marked to move to SD card as indicated. The option is
just not available. From everything I've read up to now, they have no
immediate plans to do software updates to include this option.
Having a phone which is clearly made to have added storage but not having
the software to support it is very misleading. I like my phone, but would
really like to see an update. If I need to add one app another must be
sacrificed.

If the option to move to SD is not available, you can't do it for that app. At least not without root.
No, its not. The SD can be used to store a great many other things aside from apps, such as photos and videos you took with the phone, music, movies, and documents.
You should have done more research about the SD card functionality before buying the device. And if the internal storage was not sufficient for your use, you should have purchased a device with more internal storage.

I have a few options to move to SD card.
Photos:
If I open my camera settings I have the option to save to external SD card.
Other apps or data:
In settings, under application manager, I have a list of apps under headings "downloaded", "all", SD card, and "disabled". In the sd card list may be a list of apps that can store on the SD card. Tap any app will show information, including an option to move to SD card.
My personal solution:
I don't have good luck with SD cards, so I use alternate, online storage options like DropBox for photo and video and Google drive for documents and important papers or information. This effectively adds 20 GBS of storage, without it being physically on the device.

I visited my local AT&T store and got the information I needed. Appreciate everyone's assistance.
