Samsung Galaxy S23 and 5G
How can I change to a 5G network from 4G/LTE? No Network Mode option exists in Settings under Connections-Mobile Networks. Just Network operators which is greyed out. Samsung (mfg’er) provided unlocked phone with physical ATT SIM. Do I need a new SIM that supports 5G from ATT, or is this an OS issue with Android?

A 5g SIM is required if you don't have one. You would also have to be on a plan that offers 5G. Not all of them do. You also have to be in a 5G coverage area, and your phone has to be compatible. It's not clear if either of those conditions are met as well

Hello @trwichman,
We hear you, and let's get the help you are looking for.
Like the Ace, you'll have the 5G SIM and must be on a 5G plan. In addition, you must be in a 5G network coverage area.
Here's the link to get more information about the 5G network: Wireless 5G: Network, Technology, Phones & Plans | AT&T Wireless (att.com)
Let us know if the above information helps!
