Send a text, and phone says could not be sent, but it actually was sent, and read and responded to.

Pretty vague.  If the text was read and responded to, what’s the issue?  Sometimes texts get delayed for some reason and then get automatically resent.

What's the service like in your area? These two tools will allow you to check to see if there's something going on: 

• Outage Checker. 
• Coverage Map. 

If you're in a covered zone and there are no reported outages, run the tests listed below: 

• Test Internet connectivity – Go to att.com/ttr in your device browser.
• Test SMS - Text the word test to 151.

If the tests are unsuccessful, please sign into our Device Support tool to allow it to run a complete diagnostics on your device.
