settings app crashes on my Alcatel Onetouch Allura
I am trying to change my notification tones, but every time I click on the sound and notification tab, it says unfortunately, settings stopped working. I have tried everything that was suggested online and nothing is working. It was working fine when I bought the phone, yesterday. Please help.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Community Forums! I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your new device, and I would be happy to suggest some troubleshooting steps to try!
First I would make sure your software is up to date on your device. You can check this in Settings under the System tab, and then tap About Phone. If your software is already up to date, please take a look in Settings under Storage, and clear your Cached Data from apps. This will clean the cache from all your apps you have on your device.
The last thing to try, which should resolve the issue is a factory reset. Before resetting the device, I suggest you back the phone up to avoid losing any important data. For more details on backup methods and completing the reset, please visit our Device Support page. Once there, choose your make and model device, then select “Troubleshooting” at the bottom left.
