So THREE LG G4s are defective....
So I get the replacement one (third phone in three weeks) and it's DOA. Wont' run any apps, overheats instantly when on.
Now I am told that until the defective one that it's replacing is RECEIVED I won't be able to get a replacement for this defective phone until the one that it is replacing arrives.
So let's see, I have three defective phones and two are in my possession since it was just replaced today.
Is this appropriate for a business customer? I am done.

This is why I always have a spare...
The problem may be the warranty center is sending refurbished phones. Many customers have gotten satisfaction by going direct to LG with their warranty problem.

Overheating on an Android device means you're getting a warning that it is overheating. Android devices run hot. Up to 120 degrees F is normal range. Can't put a heatsink and a fan on a mobile CPU so the housing of the device is the thermal management so to say. If you wipe the device clean and start it up does it make it through the device setup process?
You may go through the manufacturer directly for warranty service. In the end they're the ones who provide warranty. The carrier exchange process is merely an option.

So I have been denied a new phone by AT&T through every conversation and I sent them a DM as requested above.
I sent the phone to LG and I won't buy another LG phone ever again.
As soon as the G4 gets back, it's sold and I am off to another service provider. Or I unlock it and put it on another service if it works.
I am truly disappointed with the help and support from AT&T after 7 1/2 years and nearly 9000 bucks paid for service.
