@lyrical123 — the USB transfer options depend on the phone and computer used. I find Windows easier to use for this than Mac OS (the phone storage just appears in the Windows Explorer), but still I think I get prompted on the phone as to whether to allow the computer to access phone data — at least the very first time I connect to a computer I haven't used to access the phone before. So if you're connecting your phone to a computer for the very first time chances are without a working screen you won't be able to recover the data.

Hey there @lyrical123,

Thank you for reaching out to us. We are here to help you in any way possible.

We can definitely assist you with transferring your data to your new cell phone.

You can back up your contacts, photos, and files to a memory card or your computer and transfer them over to your new cell phone by restoring them from the backup that you saved.

Please follow the steps in this link https://www.att.com/support/article/wireless/KM1000927 to back up and transfer your contacts, texts, emails, photos, and more from one device to another.

Feel free to reach out to us, if you've any further questions!
