Trouble with Telemarketers

Hello, lately I have been receiving constant, unwanted calls on my mobile phone from telemarketers from all over the country (Florida, Georgia, New York, and even my local New Jersey). They are mostly numbers that I do NOT recognize, and I have tried multiple times to block those numbers from calling my phone. Usually, the caller ID would read UNSAVED, which to me is a good indicator that it is a telemarketer.

I lead a very busy life, and I have a lot of things on my plate, and I can't be constantly bothered with random, unwanted phone numbers from random strangers constantly calling me at random times during the day. I need this behavior to stop, and I want those callers to ***** (excuse my language, but this is just how frustrated I am).

I would get unusual phone calls during the day, even when I am busy with classes, or in church, and I just do NOT have the time of day to be answering to random strangers' phone calls, nor do I even know how they got my phone number in the first place to continuously hounding me.

I only contact people that I know/I am familiar with, and those are whom I expect my phone calls to be received from, not from random strangers from random places I'm not familiar with.

Is there any way that AT&T can identify telemarketing numbers and prevent them from bothering other people?

First, download the free Call Protect app. It does identify and can automatically block telemarketing  calls. It will help but won’t stop them all. Second, quit answering those unknown calls. Every time you answer such a call, you just let the robot dialer know it has a good number and leads to more calls. How are they getting your number? They aren’t. They just call all possible numbers.

I already now downloaded the app.

Basically, it just helps to identify unwanted callers and blocks them, correct?
