Unlocking a factory reset device
I need help unlocking my Galaxy Note 4. It's had a factory reset done on it. It's fully paid for and my carrier was AT&T. I want to give it to my son and he uses a different carrier. I was sent an unlock code but it doesn't work on a device that's been reset. Now what do I do?

I definitely understand how important it is to unlock your device for use with another network. I am more than happy to assist with this.
Resetting a device will not interfere with your ability to unlock the device. Since it sounds like you have already gotten the unlock code but are having issues with the unlock itself I am going to suggest looking at the AT&T Device Unlock Code Instructions PDF. Select your particular device which you are attempting to unlock and carefully follow the directions please.
