Unlocking an LG V60 in 2023

I have tried to unlock this phone that has been paid off and get the message that the imei provided is not a valid At&t IMEI.  Is it possible to get an LG phone unlocked since they have ended their cellular phone division?  I was wanting to know if I could get someone to look into this if possible to make sure I'm not wasting my time attempting this unlock.

Are you still using the phone on AT&T? If you're not using it the IMEI would have been purged because the phone is no longer supported.

Then you'll have to go through an FCC complaint. A routine complaint is just forwarded back to AT&T upper management and someone will contact you. It'll then probably take a week or more to manually look up the IMEI to approve an unlock. Then they send you an unlock code.
