Why is ATT not updating the Fold 5?

According to ATT's website, the current latest update for the Fold 5 is Android 13 and the latest security update is August 2023.

The Fold 3, a much older phone, is showing Android 14 and April 2024 security update.  This makes no sense.

Because of this, my Fold 5 has not received a single update since I got it late last year.  And restarting, having full battery, being on wifi, and factory resetting my phone does not resolve this, so please don't post that as a potential solution. I believe its a much deeper issue than my phone. I have reached out to support many times and the best I get is "try factory reset" or "call Samsung", which is laughable.

To be abundantly clear, this is NOT a Samsung issue.  Samsung released Android 14 in November of last year.

ATT branded locked phones do not get their software updates directly from Samsung, they come from ATT servers.

Therefore, if someone does have a Fold 5 on Android 14, please first verify you did get it from ATT and that it is ATT branded (meaning you see the ATT logo when you reboot) and carrier locked.  If you meet those requirements and DO have Android 14 as well as the April security update that you got from the System Update menu on the phone, please let me know. I have confirmation from some other people with ATT Fold 5's they also have not gotten updates, so it's likely everyone with ATT branded locked Fold 5's.

I would really like to speak to someone at ATT that actually has knowledge of this and could investigate why the updates are so out of date for the Fold 5.  Either there's an engineering team still struggling to get Android 14 working on the ATT Fold 5 (I think unlikely because we should have at least been getting security updates for 13) or somewhere some process didn't get followed and both ATT's website and the update server doesn't know it should be pushing updates to the Fold 5.

I'm coming here because I can't get any resolution from support and am hoping that maybe someone sensible at ATT will see this, or that I can at least get confirmation that it's all ATT Fold 5's or just mine and a few others not getting updates.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I just tried Samsung Smart Switch as a last resort. That did actually work. I installed the latest version of Smart Switch on my pc and it recognized it needed the Android 14 update. I went ahead and allowed it to proceed. It completed successfully and device rebooted. Afterward, it seemed to pick up the needed security updates because it asked to update and put me on the December 2023 update, then I checked again and it recognized it needed another one.  This indicates to me that at the very least, the ATT website listing the current updates is wrong. Additionally, either Samsung must have access to the ATT branded updates or ATT doesn't do anything to the updates at all, in which case they should be able to come from Samsung directly in the first place. Why it had to be force updated using Smart Switch first, I don't know.
Regardless, it looks like Smart Switch may actually be a viable method of force updating Android versions that are hung through the system update function in settings, even on carrier branded and locked phones.

AT&T has not been keeping up with the update information for all of their devices. Some are current, but a lot are not.

It does make it hard to rely on their site for such information.
