Will this japanese flip phone work?
Hello i am interested on the new flipphone from Freetel "mode 1 reto 2" from Japan that debut in October this year it does say it's unlocked and it even works on Canada some people have said
Model:MD-06P
2G Network : GSM GPRS EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
3G Network : UMTS HSDPA UMTS 800, 900, 2100 MHz
4G Network : FDD-LTE Bands 1, 3, 8, 11, 19, 20, 26, 28b, 41
I'll be honest I don't understand any of the bands , I was just thinking getting a prepaid At&t sim when I buy the phone to see if it works.

I can tell you right now that none of those 4G bands match what AT&T uses. The other 3g and 2g bands mean nothing as AT&T shut those down and doesn't use them at all.
So, really, even being a device not natively sold in the U.S., therefore would not be allowed on AT&T, wouldn't matter. It's not a compatible device.
In other words, don't bother. It would be useless.
