ZTE Zmax 2 (Z58) Software Updates
I have the same problem as

My ZTE Zmax 2 has build Z958V1.0.0B12. However, the following AT&T page indicates that there are least two newer builds, B14 and B16, available. https://www.att.com/devicehowto/tutorial.html#!/stepbystep/id/stepbystep_KB426950?make=ZTE&model=ZTEZ958
I have an active contract AT&T SIM in the phone, but the AT&T Software Update says no updates are available. What could be wrong?

I sent the PM requested. A response offering to help came on Sunday (5/8), a day that's busy for me (church life is like that). Now it has been closed. Subsequent PMs have gone unanswered.
Is it possible to try again?
