activating sim in insurance replacement for different line that is still in my plan

I received a replacement iphone 6 after the first was lost.  I've already bought a new phone for my line.  I would like my son to use this new phone as he had lost his phone as well.  How to I activate the sim in the new phone so that it is for his number and not mine?

Hi @lissalow!

I can definitely help out with that!

You have two options when activating a new SIM card in a phone – in store or by contacting us. What needs to be changed on the account is the IMEI number associated with the phone you will be using, this will be what moves to the phone number to the right device.

Let me know how it goes! Take care and have a wonderful week!

Just swap the SIM card.
