Cellular Data Problem

I am using an iphone SE ..   When I am away from a WiFi connection, I use Cellular data to communicate with my family... especially when I am traveling...  I have had NO issues with it until I upgraded to the IOS 11.2    NOW my cellular data NO Longer works..

I have reset the network system in the phone, I've turned on Airplane mode and then turned it off.. I have turned off the cellular data and turned it back on.. I have rebooted the phone several times and nothing is working to get the cellular data to work..  I am in India right now and really need my cellular data to work...  when it is time for me to fly back to the states, I need that cellular data to be working so I can let my family know where I am as I'm traveling home...

When I'm away from the WiFi connection, my cellular data is suppose to kick in for my messaging system .. IT ALWAYS HAS TIL I did the update.... now I can no longer use the cellular data...

I cannot do a factory reset of the phone right now.. I'm in India and do NOT want to risk any problems with the phone... I need my phone to be working when am outside the states.. so doing a reset  of the phone itself is not an option...

Please any ideas other than factory reset of the phone is much needed

Have you verified data roaming is on? Since you are out of the US, data roaming must be on for data to work.
