Current Plan Inadequate for iphone6?

I ordered my iphone6 on 9/12 on th ATT website. While ordering, I got a message that my current plan was inadequate for iphone6. I elected to deal with that issue later as it was 3 a.m. Eastern. I have 4 phones on our plan, elected a new 2-year contract. The three other phones are not yet eligible for upgrade.

Why did I get that message, and what do I do now?

What is your current plan/device? Do you currently have an iPhone or other smartphone? You should be able to see what plan you are getting with the 6 in your online order status.

My line is iphone 5. The others on the plan are iphone5S, and 2 iphone5. We have been on the same account for about 5 years.

Strange.  I upgraded from the 5 to the 6 and had no issues with my plan.  If you have 5s, you already have a smartphone plan set up for LTE.

Me too. But I called 1-800 to verify, the rep said, no such thing, without my consent, they can't swicth. And ip6 is comp able. (I have the very old version plan from Ip3).

I think ATT's techs should go to another intensive training, and upgrade their knowledges from a trust source, instead of giving away theirs harsh answers to customers.
