From the AT&T site:
- Purchase eligible device on a qualifying installment agreement including taxes on full retail price (upfront) and $35 activation/upgrade fee.
What is a qualifying installment agreement? Only the 36 mo. option with AT&T? Or can so the 24 mo. installment plan with Apple and still be eligible for the promo?

AT&T only currently offers the 36 month installment plan. The Apple plan would not count toward getting the AT&T credits because you are paying Apple for the phone, not AT&T. You have to do the AT&T installment plan to get their promo.
