I think my phone was stolen

I'm in a REAL bind. I left my phone on the school bus last Monday and despite me frantically searching everywhere and calling the bus company, it has yet to appear anywhere. I tried "Find my iPhone" but the phone died prior to it going missing and it seems to be that whomever is holding it won't turn on the device. I set my phone to lost mode as well, just to be safe, but it is now Friday night and I have yet to receive any feedback.

I heard that you guys are able to track the phone regardless of whether the phone is dead or not? Is this true? and if it is, which number should I contact to receive the information?

Att can't track phones and it's impossible to track a phone if it's dead. There has to be power to send out a signal.

@hailey_mailman: What is died? Battery dead? Go to AT&T Corperate Store and have them “blacklist” iphone, so nobody can use it. If get phone back, only you can remove iphone from blacklist.
