iPhone 12 SIM card question
Can you use a 4G LTE SIM card in the iPhone 12? Theres no 5G where I live yet and I would prefer not to change my plan and pay more until there is 5G coverage in my area. Also I can't wait too much longer to get a new phone since my iPhone 6 is on its last legs. No sense paying for 5G plan when there's no 5G near me.

I don’t believe the SIM cards are actually 4G or 5G. Whether a phone can get 5G or not is determined by the radio hardware inside the phone. I’m sure the iPhone 12 will continue to get 4G LTE as 5G isn’t anywhere close to being available everywhere.
