Iphone 5s Unlock Error

 

I tried to unlock my phone using the unlock request. However I receive the following message which doesn't make sense to me:
Thank you for contacting about unlocking your Apple iPhone 5S Model A1533 device.

 

Hi NELSON,

 

Make sure you have the correct IMEI:

 

Find an IMEI on Apple devices

 

 

Go to your Device settings; select General, and then choose About to find your IMEI.

 

Find an IMEI on Android devices

 

 

Go to the Settings app, and then select Status to find your IMEI.

 

Any mobile phone

 

 

Dial *#06# to make sure you have the right IMEI.

 

 

Note: IMEI provided is not an AT&T IMEI

 

Then, submit a new request when you're ready to try again.

The reason this does not make sense is because Apple and ATT have agree that this was their phone that I purchased from someone. Moreover when I type this IMEI # for ATT compatibility, the ATT website agrees it is compatible unlike the other networks that said no compatibility.

Here are the Eligibility Requirements for unlocking an AT&T branded iPhone 5s. AT&T PREPAID devices must be active for 6 months to qualify.

 

If your unlock request isn't approved we suggest you contact the seller for options or help meet with the requirements.
