iPhone unlock request stuck in pending for about a week

I put in a request to unlock my iPhone about a week ago.  I never received an email to confirm the unlock request.  I expected that because I was told to click on the link within 24 hours that it would reset and I could make the unlock request again.  Every time that I try again I am told that the request is still pending.  Can someone please look at this and either unlock my iPhone for me or cancel the request so that I can do it again?  I don't want to put my IMEI number on here so please let me know how to proceed.  Thanks

Greetings @btrabue!

We can help with that. There is a 3-5 days delay in approving device unlock requests considering that as of April 29, 2019, request confirmation emails are no longer required for AT&T customers submitting device unlock requests. We appreciate your patience during this time.

We hope this info helps.

It’s been well over a week. I used to be able to unlock my phones within
hours of submitting a request. Now I have to wait days?

Hello again, @btrabue!

Usually, device unlock requests take 1-2 days to process, nevertheless, since the update in the policy there have been an increase in submitted requests which has resulted in the additional time needed to process. Once submitted, a device unlock request automatically processes, so no further action is required.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

How much longer do I need to wait? Going on two weeks now! This is
ridiculous

Is there a number that I can call to get this resolved?

Ended up having to call AT&T and they were able to assist.  Seems the request was hung.  So far being my first post on this forum, it seems to be worthless.  No help from here, just seems like a script that the "techs" read from.
