Past text messages
I was wondering if I can get a print out of my last two years text messages with a person. They are my business partner, and I believe I could only see one year of messages. I would like to see two years in order to document our financial transactions.

AT&T doesn’t have the content of any text messages between you or anyone else. All you’ll get is date/time/phone number of each text. You can get the text logs for the past 16 months through your account online.

Beyond that time, you have to call to get bill reprints of earlier text logs. AT&T will charge $5 for each month after the first one.
BTW, since you posted in the Apple forum, I assume that you’re only talking about messages sent via SMS/MMS, not iMessage. iMessages are completely outside of AT&T’s system and they have no info on them.
