Received 2nd set of packing material AFTER shipping trade-in
I got a new iPhone through a promo (trade in a phone for $800 credit towards iPhone 12). The new phone arrived in a box that contained a prepaid shipping label sticker and a strip of packing tape. I have traded in phones before and thought it was odd that it did not come with protective packaging for the old device or any instructions.
I took the old phone and package material to a local AT&T store and they told me it was normal, then helped me package the old device in protective packing I had at home. I delivered it to USPS the next day.
About two weeks later, I received an envelope in the mail with instructions on how to wipe the phone, a soft device case and ANOTHER shipping label.
Did I send my phone to the wrong place?!

yes the package that came with your new phone was for the return of the new phone if you didnt like it not to return the trade in so you sent it to the wrong place, you need to call and tell them you shipped it to the wrong return center

I received my iPhone, but have not yet received the trade-in mailing kit. I has been 11 days now. It is a nightmare to try to get through by phone. Who or how can I check on this?
