Sent a request to unlock Apple Iphone. Never got email

I requested online the unlocking code from AT&T. After two buisness days I checked the staus and it said I was approved. However they never sent the email with the code. Can I be sent the code and instructions here. thanks.

@csl2424 If it's unlocked, you don't need a code for iphone.

 

This is what they sent me:

 

UNLOCK CODE: No Unlock Code Needed

We have reviewed your request and confirmed that the device may be unlocked. Please follow the unlock instructions below to unlock your device. Please allow 24 hours upon receipt of this notification to complete the unlock process.

  • A) Using a Non-AT&T SIM Card: 1) Remove your SIM card and insert the new SIM card. 2) Complete the setup process.

OR

  • B) Using an AT&T SIM Card 1) Back up your iPhone. 2) When you have a backup, erase your iPhone. 3) Restore your iPhone from the backup you just made.

This is a copy paste of the status info. 

 

"We’ve approved your request to unlock your device. Here are the instructions to complete your unlock:

  • Once you have received the email confirming AT&T has approved and processed your unlock request, follow these instructions to complete the unlock for your device. 

 

 

 

However never received said email. So obviously no idea if its locked or not. Once I get the new Sim card from the current carrier, then will I know. But rather have it now. so the set up will actully work, and not be denied access because of a lock. Why the email just wasn't sent is odd. Wish they had sent it.

 Having the same problem. Status Says email sent to me with link to unlock, since I haven't responded "they've paused the request", but I have not received the email. They said to submit the request again. When I did that I get a reply in the status window that there is already an open request..no mail in the trash or junk either.
