Traded Up to iPhone 8Plus, Flooded with Telemarketers

Recently, I traded up to the iPhone 8Plus from a 7Plus. I received my new phone on the September 22nd. Beginning on Monday the 25th, I've been inundated with telemarketing calls from all over the U.S. I received 8 of them on the 25th. Since then, I am getting between 3-5 calls a day. I don't answer these. I have ATT Call Protect, and in fact it autoblocked 5 "potential fraud" calls on the 25th.

I find it really coincidental that this uptick in these calls have come after I received my new phone. Anyone else experiencing this, or ATT, if you are listening, got any thoughts?
