Unlock Request-Email Verification Link doesn't work

Hi,

I submitted a request via the unlock request portal to unlock my off contract phone. I receieved the verification email to verify my email address by clicking the link. Only problem is the link simply takes me to the AT&T homepage and when I check the unlock status by manually entering the IMEI and request ID into the unlock portal, it shows it's awaiting email confirmation.

I've tried it on my iPhone, Mac Safari, and Mac Firefox and the issue occurs with all 3; I also had the email resent and the same issue persists. How am I supposed to verify my email if the link sent doesn't even work properly?

What are the Properies of the email confirmation link?  It should begin with http://www.att.com/emailconfirmation/client/en_US/

I am having the same issue. Tried on my Mac, using three different browsers: Firefox, Safari, Chrome. None works. The confirmation link is like

"http://www.att.com/?requestId=xxxxxx&transactionId=xxxxxx" (xxxxxx is not real value of course)

Also having the same problem with a similar link that redirects to the home page. Has anyone tried calling customer service? I will later when I get a moment.

Awesome. That worked for me, too. Thanks.

I really liked these two lines on the confirmation page: "We'll send the status of your request to the email address you gave us in approximately 48 hours. Status emails can take up to 5 business days for delivery." Huh. I guess I'll wait 48 hours to 5 days for a response, then.

You're lucky.  I cann't even get a confirmation email.  (And yes, I've checked the junk mail folder.)

Been trying for a week to get the unlock process started. Have made 3 different requests via their portal, have made numerous calls to att's help line.  ATT is surely dragging their feet and I would have to say that they are NOT fullfilling their obligations under their agreement with the FCC on phone unlocking.  I'm at loss other than filing a complaint with the FCC.

the problem could be that the phone was bought on a business account and there is a different unlock page for business accounts https://www.wireless.att.com/bizdeviceunlock/deviceUnlockTerms.jsp
