The replacement cell tower quit working

The replacement cell tower worked for several months. On Nov 9th it just stopped working. All the lights are yellow. When you unplug or press reset they come on immediately all yellow.

I talked to an AT&T customer specialist. We decided that the tower was defective and they are sending me another one under warranty.  Thanks for your response

@Rddd1313  Any changes or updates to connected hardware (router, gateway, modem)? Did you try the Reset procedure mentioned in my Cellular Booster Tech Guide? The link is in my sig line. Have you checked the ac adapter with a voltmeter with no load applied to see what it reads?

We want to make sure you can use your Cell Booster, @Rddd1313.

Thank you @OttoPylot for the great advice. If all the LED indicators on your Cell Booster Pro are a solid orange, then that would mean the device is either in a self-test state or there is a fault in the hardware.

Try plugging the AC adapter into a different outlet or replacing the cords, and let us know if there was a change to the hardware. We also recommend trying a factory reset, by using a paper clip to press and hold the reset button for 20 seconds.

Let us know how this goes.

I plugged it into a different socket.  Immediately all the orange lights came back on. I held the reset button for over 30 seconds the lights never changed.

Thank you for keeping us updated, @Rddd1313.

We have a few more troubleshooting steps for you to try. If you haven't already, try disconnecting the Cell Booster and then activating it again through our online registration. You can see how to do this in the How do I troubleshoot issues with my Cell Booster section on our Cell Booster FAQ page.

You can also use our device support page to diagnose what's going on with your Cell Booster based on the color and status of the LED lights. In addition to this, try unplugging the other cords attached to the device, and then plugging them back in.

Lastly, please confirm if the LED lights are a solid orange or a flashing orange. This will give us a better idea of what's going on, along with our next steps.

Please share this information this us, so we can look into this further.

They are a solid orange. I will try disconnecting and reconnecting to see if that works. Thanks for the quick response.

@Rddd1313  Did you follow the instructions in my Tech Guide and have you checked the ac adapter following the instructions in my Guide? Plug a lamp into both outlets. If the light turns on, the outlet is fine. If the ac adapter reads higher than 12VDC with no load, then the adapter is ok. If the Reset doesn't work then it's possible that the Cell Booster is defective. I'm assuming you are using the new Cell Booster and not the MicroCell.
