Curious on service

I'm moving to Yukon Oklahoma and the house that we are moving into has a att fiber box at the end of the driveway and there are several poles identifying that there is an att fiber line buried but my house says online and when I called said that there is no service at my house is this normal or are they still installing and working on getting it installed or is there a number that I can call to find out for myself

att.com can tell you what service is available to be installed at a given residence.

Having a pole with orange tip saying ATT fiber means there is fiber underground for those planning on digging. That fiber could be going a mile or more away to cell tower, government structure, schools, hospitals, neighborhoods, etc.

Use the online tool to check what other addresses on your street can receive, if internet 300 or better not offered that fiber is not for you… it is possible it may be coming within less than 2 years as about 5 million out of 35 million addresses within 21 state will be upgraded by end 2025.

Calling means an ATT employee will use the same site you can use to determine what is available…

https://www.att.com/internet/availability/

ATT offers either copper or fiber internet to a large portion of Yukon but there are many ISPs in that zip code including COX (90%) and OEC Fiber (10%) along with many fixed wireless companies offering cell tower internet.
