Internet service installation incomplete.

A technician came and install the WIFI in the house, then another crew was supposed to connect the house to the Internet, but I received a message stating that my installation was cancelled because they "Hit a snag" whatever that means. I would like a more detailed explanation, please. I have not moved completely into the house yet as there is work being done on it, but I would like internet to be working when I do move in.

There can be issues where there are not adequate facilities available to connect your home (insufficient ports, etc.) that are not properly reflected in the availability database.  Although... you've got me scratch my head with regard to the " technician came and install the WIFI in the house"?  What did he actually do?  Did he leave equipment?

The router is hooked up and turned on the last time I checked. He installed the exterior connection box too.
