Looking for LOCAL dispatch number!

Our internet line was cut (not by us). I called on a Tuesday, and the soonest appt AT&T could give me was Thursday. I was told someone needed to be home, even though the issue was an outside line. The tech was a no call, no show. I call back the next day and was told they can't get to me now until Tuesday of next week. I work from home so I have no internet, and my husband wasted a vacation day waiting around for the tech. I keep getting tosses from one 800 number to the next. I need someone out TODAY. Can anyone help with a local Louisville, KY number?

You're not going to get priority treatment just because you work from home. You're paying for and using residential service made for entertainment, business customers pay a much higher rate. If you're working from home is critical you need a backup plan for outages. The tech not showing up is pretty common as they don't get their next dispatch until they finish what they are on, so it may have gotten too late to even assign to a tech.

So it's basically "oh well, wait until we get to you" type thing? Why do I pay a bill? I'm not expecting priority treatment, but they scheduled an appointment and asked someone was there. I think I have a right to be upset that I used a vacation day and no one showed or called.

If you feel you've been wronged by AT&T you always have the option to file an FCC complaint. The priority treatment statement was based on your demand it be fixed today. Have you called dispatch and asked for an escalation?

Yes, and they said the soonest they have is next Tuesday. I don't think it's unreasonable to demand service repair when I was no called/no showed and on a scheduled appt when I was told to be there.

@kfarley01 there is a process to expedite your appointment by tech support agent if your previously scheduled technician didn't show up, however that isn't always a guarantee of earlier appointment.
