New Address is NOT being recognized by AT&T despite AT&T installing fiber in our neighborhood.

We are moving into a new home in a new subdivision. AT&T has already laid the lines for fiber in our neighborhood. However, AT&T has told us it will be 2-3 months before the rest of the work is done (AT&T words.. "we are looking at possible another 2 months, before this project will be placed and spliced in the field"). We have not been able to find any carrier to recognize our address to get internet till the work is done, despite our area being serviced by all the major carriers.

AT&T has several other options we can use for internet (wireless internet/AT&T Air) but since they do not recognize our address they wont' allow us to use the services. (A hotspot is not an option to run our home for multiple months.)  I just need someone at AT&T to figure out how to recognize our address so we can get some kind of internet till the rest of the fiber network is done. We move in 2 weeks and I need a resolution ASAP. Thanks!

While you wait for our Fiber services, please check the availability of AT&T internet services by entering your exact address. If there are any plans available at your address, you can order them online, if none are currently available for your address, we recommend submitting an Address Research Request form so you can be notified if and when your address becomes eligible for service in the future.

I appreciate the response but as I said previously, our address is not found in the AT&T system. We have put in address research requests and a Rep put in for a address verification and we are getting no where.

Address validation can take several weeks, you should have been a case number to refer to…. If not updated within 3 weeks can call back with the case number.

Does anyone on your street qualify for ATT fiber when checking online?

If not, the service might not be turned on yet, if yes might just be missing or incorrect information such as address, street name, lot number, etc. Engineering group receives request to validate.
