Wall plugin

I'm wondering if it's possible to get someone to come to my home and install ethernet plugin jacks in other rooms? The modem/ router is plugged into one room and I'd like other rooms to have it as well though I'm not sure if this is something simply done or how much something like this would cost.

Good Evening @nreszler

ATT can do this for you, you just have to reach out to 1-800-288-2020 and reach our tech department. From there we will be able to schedule a technician to come to your home. There is a standard tech fee of $99 and for any additional wiring ATT charges an additional $49 - In total it would be $149 that would be charged on the following months bill. You also have the ability to break this down into 1/3 payments (3 separate bills) if you need some help paying for that work to get completed, but the tech department and the technician will discuss these charges with you prior to any work being started. - Keep in mind this is a generalization and any account specific questions or final charges should be directed to the number I provided above.

Hope this helps,

Hunter

@nreszler  You would probably be better off to get a couple of bids from electricians who have LV (Low Voltage) wiring experience. Explain what you want and where and see what they recommend. It won't be cheap but it would be better than going thru AT&T and having it attached to your monthly billing. CAT-6a or 8 cabling is not that expensive depending on how much you need and neither are punchdown keystone jacks for the wall outlet connections. If you purchase the materials yourself you'll save money and the expensive part will be the electrician's hourly.
