WiFi not reinstating

Long story short I didn’t pay for two months so WiFi was suspended. I paid this morning and waited for it to come back on but no luck. I just tried to troubleshoot it thru the app but then it gave up and decided to order me a new modem which I don’t want, and apparently can’t cancel. Is there any other way to restore the WiFi that isn’t the default unplug/plug?

You don't pay for WiFi. That is just a wireless connection between your devices and your router, or your devices and your printer, or any other device that uses WiFi.

What you are paying for is internet. However, if you haven't paid for two months then you might be beyond the point you can restore the account. You will need to call AT&T and check the account status. As long as you paid the entire balance to $0 then hopefully it is just they need to restore manually.
