Click on the Contacts icon between Mail and Calendar
Click on the easy-to-miss "Actions" link
Select "Export..." from the dropdown list

What if you have multiple lists?
When using your solution, all the contacts are exported in one block.

The Yahoo export seems to be all or nothing. You'd have to edit the contacts after importing.
