Glendale Prehistoric Internet Speed

Hello,

I am hoping to bring awareness to the issue of slow internet speed in my area..I live in Glendale, CA and it has come to my attention that the only internet speed available here is 3 mgbps, which is simply flabbergasting. My boyfriend is Deaf and requires a video relay service to use the telephone but he is not able to considering the slow loading speeds. I find it impossible to believe that I am living 12 minutes from the Downtown region of one of the biggest cities in the world and I cannot get satisfactory internet service because the area I live in precludes me from acceptable service. I am requesting to the gods of AT&T that they do their best to install a closer center and work to ameliorate this issue. Thank you.

Hello @ryanletts

There are many factors that affect available DSL speeds. Unfortunately AT&T's DSL expansion has ended few years ago and no upgrades are being made to it anymore. You will need to check if U-verse is available in your area, you can do that by clicking here.

Thank you,

Dmitriy

Dmitiry,

I do have Uverse - I apologize if that was not made clear. I have also already checked with a technician and they informed me that no upgrades are available in my area unless they upgrade the systems around me. That is what I am asking AT&T to look into - Making an upgrade available for Uverse in my area.
