How to maintain yahoo group access without sbcglobal.net login?

I have AT&T U-verse but still use my old sbcglobal.net email address to log into yahoo groups. Recently I received an email saying that the sbcglobal.net logins would no longer be able to access yahoo groups, and I needed to create a yahoo ID.

I created a new yahoo ID using the secondary email address that I use in yahoo groups. This did not work, it did not carry over my existing yahoo group memberships. I can't find any way to contact yahoo support.

Can anyone here help me? I have at least 10 years worth of yahoo group subscriptions...

HI mjsoccerfan,

Sorry you're having trouble with your Yahoo groups. You can reach Yahoo Support via https://help.yahoo.com/kb/account and they should be able to help you further. I do apologize that AT&T is unable to assist with Yahoo group issues.

Sincerely,

-ATTU-verseCare

I didn't go to Yahoo support, but I ended up having to re-subscribe to all the yahoo groups that I wanted to stick with.

And since I had to create a new Yahoo ID, i could not retain my old postings as my own old conversations.

oh well.
