Why do I have to accept third party cookies in order to watch video at http://start.att.net/?
Why do I have to accept third party cookies in order to watch video at http://start.att.net/? For example http://start.att.net/player/article/newsy_now-china_retaliates_against_the_us_with_even_more_tar-newsy/category/news won't play unless I always accept third party cookies. For privacy I block most cookies except those which I specifically allow and sometime in the last month the att.net videos quit playing. I was trying to figure out which cookies I need to specifically accept so I opened a Private windows in Firefox and tried to view the video. I told it to accept all cookies but to only accept third party cookies from sites that I visit and the video didn't play. Then I told it to always accept third party cookies and the video played. This doesn't seem right as I should not have to accept cookies from third parties who I don't know in order to see content from att.net, my internet service provider who I pay every month for service.

It is what it is. FYI, in FF you can click the favicon in the url (location) bar to bring up site info for the page you are currently on. In there you should see a tab to show all the cookies associated with that page and the permissions tab allows you to specify cookies handling for that page (set cookies) to be always blocked, always allow, or treat for the session only (as long as FF is running).
